Shanghai Yuanben Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Yuanben Biotechnology") was established in 2015. It is an agricultural high-tech enterprise specializing in organic waste treatment and resource utilization, directly held by the Hefei Institute of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The company has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Specialized and New Enterprise. 

The company holds approximately 80 core technology patents and independent intellectual property rights, one provincial-level expert workstation, and one provincial scientific and technological achievement registration certificate. It has obtained nine organic fertilizer registration certificates, two industrial product production licenses, two special permits for harmless treatment of diseased animals, one special permit for kitchen waste treatment, and one Grade III environmental engineering general contracting qualification. Its business has expanded to over 20 provinces across China, successfully operating nearly 100 environmental engineering treatment stations and multiple resource utilization demonstration bases. Yuanben Biotechnology has pioneered and implemented a county-level organic waste treatment and resource utilization model nationwide.

It has strategically established urban-rural organic waste disposal centers in key regions such as Zhejiang and Yunnan, gaining significant industry influence.
